Concrete Raising In Independence, MO – Fix It, Don't Replace It!
The Truth about Concrete
The stability of any concrete slab is dependent upon the soil conditions under and around the slab. Since soil expands and contracts all year round it is common for slabs to raise or sink. Other factors such as tree roots or the makeup of the concrete when it was first poured can all play a part in slab movement. This is where concrete raising and leveling services is needed. Rather than tearing an existing driveway or sinking porch, it is often much more cost effective to consider mudjacking for repair.
Affordable Mudjacking Concrete Lifting has been raising concrete for over 20 years. We offer 2 effective methods to raise concrete slabs: mudjacking and polyjacking. Both methods have several residential and commercial uses including sidewalks, steps, stoops, driveways, pool decks, garage floors, garage center columns, patios, factory floors, city streets, curb and gutters and airport runways.
Our mudjacking process starts by drilling small holes through the slab and pumping a slurry mixture (a process that has been around for nearly 30 years). As the product flows beneath the surface, voids and depressions are filled and the slab is raised to achieve the desired height.
Polyjacking is performed by drilling a tiny hole into the slab and inject a polyurethane foam material into the void. This material expands in the void and helps lift the slab back to level. This method of concrete raising is efficient, cost effective, and can be completed faster than mudjacking.
